This is a USS Coronado AGF-11 ship patch.
"Ivory Beast of the Middle East"
I'm not sure how old this patch is.  The Coronado was redesignated a T-AGF-11 in 2003 and decommissioned in 2006.
It measures approx. 4 1/4" in diameter
