This is a US Air Force transitional coat for that short time when they still wore US Army Air Force patches. 
This one is an officers coat with the 15th Army Air Force patch on it.
It has a sewn ribbon bar on it.
There is a dirty spot on the lapel closest to the ribbons (See photo)
There are also a couple of holes above the ribbon bar and one on the back (See photos)
There are no tags so I don't know the date or size of this coat.
